Krampus Card
December 22, 2009
Do we have any German speakers here who can help me translate this humorous card featuring Krampus? For those of you unfamiliar with Krampus, he’s the evil counterpart to jolly Ol’ St. Nick in some parts of Europe. In this image the poor guy looks like he’s not sure whether he should use that birch rod of his or not on that happy redhead.
Have a happy holiday, even if you don’t have a birch rod ready for celebrating!
Btw, I’d appreciate it if commenters could keep the conversation about adults.
A lively game, all in honor of
One can not deny the Krampus
but in this hot Chess
Soon even the strongest Krampus weak!

One can’t refuse the Krampus
a quick game, altogether in honor.
During this hot match however,
even the strongest Krampus soon grows weak
