Is it just me, or has anyone else ever wondered why The Phantom is wearing a dildo on his shoulders?

Indeed, the Phantom was a spank freak of sorts, but of the best kind. He only did
it when it was well deserved, which was quite often. Maybe the fact that Lee Falk
was a spanker had something to do with it, becoz Mandrake, another Falk creation
also had to reluctantly but frequently turn grown women over his knee. I have
a comic book with the Phantom bequeathing another well-earned spanking to two
sisters (not the ones here).
